Together with Schoolab, the innovation hub from Paris and our sponsors Vingroup, Dreamplex, Vintech and Microsoft, we’re building the bridge between entrepreneurs, investors, leaders & the innovation ecosystem in Asia via the Hanoi Innovation Summit.

In the past few years, Vietnam’s exports have doubled, and its global economic footprint has drastically expanded.
This is partly due to a competitive workforce, doubled with low-cost local infrastructure and growing foreign investments. But it is not all there is to the trade game of Vietnam — the country is positioning itself as an upcoming challenger in today’s economy, thanks to smart trade agreements and ideal geographical location.
Bordering China and only a stone’s throw away from Hong Kong, Vietnam is now the ‘Silicon Valley of Hardware’ according to Wired. A location which is also convenient the other way around, namely, for China, who has decided to move huge parts of its production to Vietnam.
Besides enlarging its export footprint in Asia, Vietnam is also setting its sights on other international markets. Earlier this month, a joint statement with the European Union was issued, announcing a new trade deal — an ambitious agreement effectively ensuring further growth in the APAC region, with Vietnam at its very core.
